still after an engine !

Right I've been told that I can use an Marina or Ital engine and running gear....proving difficult to find.
What about an Allegro or another flavour or 1275 A-Series engine? :-? :-? :-?

Marina / Ital engines - Which ones/

Hi Just a quickie I'm now looking to stick with the BMC engine. I know the A-series fits from a Marina or Ital, what about E and O series. Does the gearbox and running gear work straight out of the E and O series as well. Any help will be great as I'm finding it hard to find out exactly whats requir...

Modern Engine

I have 4 door 1000 that want to put a modern engine in. What do you suggest? I dont want to turn it in to a hotrod, just make it a bit faster and more reliable (I know you all think the A-series is). I was thinking 1.4 ish Also if anyone knows someone in the Essex/East London area for doing the work...
