This is the new crossmember from below[frame][/frame]

The Morris has got through 10 or 12 MOTs since dad was first warned about rust in the centre crossmember. The regular waxoyling and a couple of welded repairs have sufficed up to now but this time a proper lasting job is required so replacement of the whole crossmember is the only sensible solution....

Next job was to remove the seats and interior trim. Under the carpets we found some newspaper dated April 1977! Dad thinks that was the last time the car was cleaned [frame][/frame]
