803 cc timing chain
Hi ,
I have 1955 803cc four door saloon morris minor and the timing chain has started to rattle very loudly .
Are all the timing chains the same on all OHV engines and is it better to fit a duplex chain rather than a single chain.

Raised the axle and hangers moved backwards as axle raised. Raised till body just lifting and hangers in perfect position and rear dampers and damper strut fitted.

Petrol pump fitted is a modprod 129 electric unit which should only be fitted to minis and next to fuel tanks since having short suction and long discharge arrangement. Hi Guys,
It does not move if you pump it up and very little play in any on master cylinder linkage.
Spacers fitted to clutch slave cylinder to line up with clutch actuating arm.

Does anbody know the clearance between the flywheel starter ring and the starter motor bendix, when in a stationary position. Does it have a minimum\maximum clearance to operate correctly.

Oil filter connects to screwed unit via pipe from engine as you first describe.
Aquired morris minor timing cover and now want set of front complete engine mounting blocks ,(metallastic block and steel bracket ).
