I have an MOT due for my "68 pick up and after not driving her for a month or so it appears I have no free play on the clutch. Got told to pump the pedal to see if there was any air trapped, which hasn't worked. Any ideas guys?

Re: Clutch??
Plan to strip all ignition parts soon and get them cleaned up. Then I'll try and find what I can do with the clutch.

Re: Clutch??
I had a feeling there was some sort of moisture in there. Leads are only six months old, not sure how old other ignition parts are. Plugs are reasonably new too. She started fine today, just couldn't drive her as the bite point was so low. How would I be able to locate if there was a return spring m...

Re: Clutch??
I planned on buying a more modern car before the problem arose but it rained heavily a fortnight ago and she struggled to keep running. It was rush hour and town was chocca. The car just wouldn't stay running and she wouldn't start running unless I waited for about ten minutes. But she did it about ...

Clutch??
I recently had problems with my Moggie 1000 pick up during the wet so I bought my self a golf for the winter. Earlier I took my brother to the train station and wanted to take the pick up as the weather isn't too bad. But I put my foot and the clutch and it felt very flat and as I just took my foot ...

Re: Grinding
Could the fact that both half shafts were changed not very long ago be causing a problem as well?

Grinding
Today I notices something which looks like brake dust and fluid on the outside of the wheel, and that my brake lights have stopped working. Also when the car is slowing ( not necessarily when braking) that the rear axle seems to be grinding with every full turn. Could these all be connected? Thanks,...

Re: In-line fuel filter.
The filter inside the fuel pump? I haven't a clue to be honest. My knowledge isn't the greatest to be honest. If it needs replacing, is that the whole pump that needs replaced?

In-line fuel filter.
Everytime I have pumped the bonnet up the fuel filter has almost been full. But today after a 'dull ticking' kind of sound I popped it up and it was very low and fuel was sputtering into the filter from the fuel hose.
Do I have a problem at all?
Thanks, Al.

Re: Half shaft?
Looking on ESM they're selling second hand ones for £25 ea (I think, page won't reload)
Is it worth changing both sides if that's the case? Imagine there will be some gaskets and other parts needed etc?

Half shaft?
Recently bought a 68' pick up, and is my second Moggie since passing my test at 17 last June. I was driving through town and stopped behind a bus at some lights, as I was starting to pull away I heard a massive bang (like someone had gone into me) and had no drive. My uncle knows a bit about older v...

Only pictures I have I'm afraid. Can't get hold of my brother, don't reckon he'd be able to tell me exactly how to get there, but when/if I find out i'll keep you guys posted.
