Hello all. I was trying to replace the rear light lens glass on my MM series and the screw head has been cut off so now i can not unscrew it. I sprayed it with 2 different penetrating oil sprays. Now the screw is without a head and I can't take it out. It's the bottom one. Any advice on how to unscr...

Do i have to install seatbelts??
As i said on my previous post i will re-register my MM series. The car does not have any seat belts and i don't know if there were any seat belts before i bought it. My 1962 Triumph Herald had seat belts but I don't know if the early cars had. My MM was register to Cyprus in 1950. Do you know if it ...

Re: paint colour codes
Hello all. I haven't been around for a long time. My MM series was resting in the garage for the last 3-4 years when I decided to fix it again and start moving it. I took it to an old mechanic and fixed all of it's problem... Actually there were 2-3 problems only. Last weekend my two friends came by...

Re: exhaust smoke
The journey was about 5-10 minutes. I was just picking it up from the garage where they replaced the exhaust system. It was not a cold night - cold nights are over in Cyprus some time now
Water leak? From inside the engine? How can I check this?

Re: exhaust smoke
I checked the oil level and it's fine.
I saw it smoking last night when a friend of mine was driving it and I was following him with another car. From what I remember the smoke was white - I could see it through my cars lights beam. For sure it's not a black smoke.

exhaust smoke
My lowlight just got back from mechanic last night. The whole exhaust system has been replaced too. It was smoking before and it still smokes. Can I use STP's Smoke Treatment or STOP No Smoke/No Leak on that car? Is there anything else I can try to stop the smoke?
Thanx.

Re: where to place mirros
Why fit exterior mirrors, just make sure you do a shoulder check before any change of direction - in fact this should be the norm whether mirrors fitted or not. Pete You know, I always did this when I was driving my good old Triumph Herald. Although I had wing mirrors I used to do a shoulder check ...

Camera and screen in a classic car? I won't even have a radio in it. I prefer the mirrors ..although a camera and a screen would be neat.

where to place mirros
My MM lowlight doesn't have any mirrors on it. What kind of mirrors should I put on? Door mirrors or wing mirrors?
