I think the distance between the shoulders of the hub an the length of the spacer must be the same. Have someone technical information from morris for the hub and the spacer? Hello, it is a standart size, same as the bearing. Outer bearing is 7303B and inner bearing is 7205B. So the outer diamter for the outer bearing is 47mm. You can try it in the www (in Germany we call them "Passscheiben" or "Distanzscheiben", http://www.agrolager.de/index.php?cPat...

I think a shim is better than changing the size of the spacer. With the shims you can change the play step by step. If the spacer is to short, the bearing will damage after a few miles.

i had the same problem. New bearings and play in the hub. You can add a shim between the outer shoulder an the bearing, look at my posting.
