Hi Chris, thanks for your advice ,I had thought the same myself but it just looked so tempting &very true what you said it is a fair lump of an engine ,I think k series or zetec like you say is going to be the route we have to go down cheers

FITTING VAUXHALL ASTRA ENGINE,BOX AXLES TO A MOGGIE
Hi just wondered if anyone had fitted a vauxhall astra 8 valve 1600 cc engine,gearbox stub axles & rear axle to a moggie & is it possible to fit it as it is in the astra (transversly ) if anyone can give me some information on this please ,many thanks aidensfieldpostie

Hi Chris, Thank you for answering that question for me, yes extended studs should do the job I just was not sure how easy they were to come by,we had a mini a few years ago & it had extended drums on it which i had never seen before,they were around one & a half times the size of the normal ...
