Re: Pickup tidy up

Well we finally bit the bullet and are having the pickup sprayed. It has been happening over the last three weeks, complete strip down, back to metal, etc I am soo happy with the result so far, it feels really good to give the old girl a new lease of life. Re: Correct colour for wheels and radiator grill

This is very weird, i was just about to ask the exact same question and this was the first post that came up on new posts. We are having our 1960 pickup repainted and initially thought that the wheels and grill should be old english white, however, looking at the chart attached i believe everything ...

Re: Pickup woes

Turns out the float chamber was so full of crud that barely any fuel was getting through. Obviously a piece had dislodged and stopped fuel flow. So whipped it all off, stripped it down and gave it a damn good cleaning. Put it back on and voila, back to normal.

Re: Top Speed in a series II

In my 803cc, all original running gear underneath, it will do 55ish+. On the way to the national last year i was most happy cruising at around 45ish. I just feel harsh going any faster as i like to just hear the engine happily running in the background.

Personally i just enjoy the ride :)
