It could be moggy as in the cat. There are some similarities between a minor and a cat. When it's in a good mood it purrs. In a bad mood or ill it yowls. You think of it as a pet, you've admitted already many pat their cars in the morning- that's almost stroking it ! And if it's about to break down ...

Our saloon also originally (or when we bought it) had a white parcel shelf, but the leaks from the old windscreen rubber made short work of it :( so later when we took it to a garage to get some welding etc done they decided it looked tatty and chucked it out and we had to ask them to give us one bac...

Peetee, surely the rear carpets would also get wet though? It may be worth chucking a bucket of water to make sure there are no leaks! That won't be needed- we have Scottish weather here ;) I should have mentioned that we did replace the rear windscreen rubber, but no sealant etc was used as they fi...

A bright new start to the day, and how did it start? Wet seatbelts (as always), puddles on the parcel shelf and soaking wet carpets :x The only thing I can think of is the wiper rubbers, we've only just redone everything else  i'm getting a little disheartened :( And the old boot lid rubber fel...

Some Misc. Questions.
1) What would you suggest is the best mastic/sealant for a boot lid rubber? (not sure whethere you would use sealant or mastic) 2) How can you remove the heater, to open it up to see if foam is perished and possibly replace foam? 3) How can you replace the oval rubbers from the windscreen wipers? Do...

the cover was rusty when we got the car- BEFORE we got the new chassis  that explains why it's rusty :( If it wasnt for an oil leak we would have had to replace all our chassis. Also on the subject of oil leaks, ours does lose a few drops after each run, but the car has been at max on the dips...

Box section and door draught exluders.
Okay, over the christmas holidays we found out our box section was nicely full of water (our rear window rubber was the culprit) .We managed to siphon it out using the radiator over flow pipe and now the big question. I know it is impossible to get into the box section (the top holes are way too sma...

i'll have to try wd40 when i find the stuff (it's been moved from where I last put it :) ) the passenger side switch once undone had 1mm of wire free so swapping to a new switch will be hard, unless behind the glove boxes I can free up some more :) i'm trying not to buy new switches if possible so I...
