The form above will give you all the previous owners names and address and when they had the car. As long as its on the dvla system as it might not go that far back.

You can get all the information that the DVLA has on record.
It costs £5 and the car has to have been registered in your name. the link should take you to the form needed.

I bought the car and am quite happy with it, the seller told me I should check the spring and hanger for myself which I did. It was my choice to buy the car and not the sellers fault in any way. He didn't have the means or knowledge to sort it where as I do.

Now I am registered on here the full story has become clear, and the last owner was also a forum member.
I hope he hasn't been put off minor ownership as I am sure if he had this one sorted he would have been fine.
