Length and weight of a 1960 Traveler

I am in the process of buying a 1960 Traveler. Could someone please confirm the length and weight. The car is 2,000 miles away and the shipper needs this information.

The figures I have are 1830 pounds for the weight.

The length is 149 inches.

Thanks, David

Re: 1952 MM Convertible

I have new inner lower door seals for my 1952 MM convertible, they use the 12 holes on the bottom of the door. Could someone provide a picture how to mount them.

Thanks, Dave

Re: simple questions. (i hope)

The pictured part is the voltage regulator and yes there will be a wire for most every terminal. There should be plenty of wiring diagrams in the electrical section of the website. I live in Arizona. If you need anything give me a call.

Re: Classical gas can

The solder will not melt! I have owned my 1948 Indian motorcycle for twenty years. The gas tanks are soldered and I have never had a problem.

Re: Which gasless MIG welder???

I have been using a MIG welder for years to repair sheet metal on cars and heavier things like frames. I have found that using the MIG without the gas mixture creates a lot of splatter near the welds and it also distorts the metal more than with the gas. The gas mixture not only keeps the weld clean...

Re: 1952 MM Convertible

The latest picture of My modified MM. The 2.2 liters of Toyota power is so much fun. Minimal weight and lots of power makes for interesting driving. It should be fun to surprise drivers after is the engine is broken in properly. Dave  :D :D [frame] http://mmoc.org.uk/mbimage.php?src=136202...

Re: The old boat

Graham,

I am glad you had a good time in LA. So which one out of the four motley crew are you? I love early Early El Caminos. I have had a few in the past. I will try to post some pictures of my MM this weekend.

Re: 1952 MM Convertible

I installed a stereo and speakers in my MM convertible. Due to limited space I came up with a creative location for the speakers. I made up some spacers and screwed them to my door cards. Re: The old boat

Graham,

Your Old boat is looking good. Sorry we could not meet you in California when you here, we had a death in the family. I have been driving my MM around. It is running great; puts a smile on my face every time I drive it.

Re: 1952 MM Convertible

I have been putting in a lot of time on my MM along with my new / old 1930 Indian motorcycle. The MM is now in epoxy primer to protect it from the elements. The wiring is now complete and everything works nicely. I added two extra lights on the rear bumper for the turn signals. My big box of bits ar...

Re: Name that Car Quiz

Ok, great. I currently own a 1952 Singer 4 ad, a 1962 Sunbeam Alpine, and 1952 Morris minor. All of my cars are updated with modern engines. My concern would be about parts availability. This car would stay in its original condition, so original parts would be required.

Thanks, Dave
