15mm copper pipe is really too large to fit to 1/2 rubber heater hose , yes it can be made to fit but its bad engineering practice and not recommended although I could make up the 15mm copper pipe I would be unable to make the copper pipe bend tight enough at the front edge. That's want I need type A .. 90dg from bottom hose then along side manifold then 90dg up to rubber hose join , NOT the type that goes over t/stat housing .

I could use rubber pipe but the metal hose is neater, so that's what I am trying to achieve .

Need a new clutch centre plate for a 1275 to ford type 9 5 speed conversion. I think these are specially made so who stocks spares for this conversion.

Whats wrong with keeping the 1275 flywheel , it fits the engine . Is it the clutch that's the problem?

Doesn't the 1275 flywheel have different fixings 6 bolts instead of 4 as used on the 803 948 and 1098 ..

Due to the 948 engine unexpectedly expiring I need to fit a replacement engine a bit sharpish . I know its not advised as yes the gearbox wont last long, but I need to fit a spare 1275 Sprite engine onto the 803 box as a temp fix . Has anybody done it, I know the 1098cc clutch has clearance problems...

I have been given a unused kit of parts for a 5 Speed conversion to fit a Toyota box to a Morris 1000 . I think this was bought from the Morris Minor Centre at Bath many years ago .Was this the same kit offered by Rooster racing? I have been told they stopped making the kit as Toyota boxes were hard...
