Any previous owners of UTJ 711H?
I bought this well sorted 1275 2 door a couple of years ago which goes a lot better than it ought. The clutch has just gone and left hand tie panels needs replacing so I thought I'd kill two birds with one stone and remove the engine. On taking the carb and exhaust off a set of beautifully polished ...

Re: Clutch problem
Thanks for all the suggestions - much appreciated.
As far as I can tell the hydraulics are functioning correctly - what sort of travel should the lever on the end of the slave cylinder have? It's moving an inch or so and I'm just wondering if that's enough.

Re: Clutch problem
What I suspected and didn't really want to hear
Would it be easier to remove engine and 'box as one or wiggle out the box on it's own?

Clutch problem
I have a '69 2 door saloon with a 1275 engine and box fitted with a hydraulic clutch. The clutch pedal has always needed to be pressed right down to the floor and has finally given up making me think it's a hydraulic problem. Looking at the condition of the master and slave cylinders I've replaced t...

Can't lock drivers door . . . .
Seems I have a problem with the drivers door (2 door saloon) in so much I can't lock it - the key turns but the interior door lock catch lever is very sloppy. With the door open, if I hold the lever up the lock works but let go or shut the door it then drops and the lock opens. Is there anyway of ad...

Hope someone can help me out as my google mojo has failed  I have a Lucas 4 pole ignition switch - turn to right to start and run, turn to left for aux power. Looking at the back the terminals are numbered 1 to 4, number 3 being a single spade and the others double. I'd be very grateful if som...

Re: Door alignment
If the fit at the wing end is ok - don't touch the hinges! The wing/door fit is just about perfect, which is why I'm thinking something is amiss and on the side shown. The door fits at the at the top and bottom - I'm just wondering if it's been over on it's side and pushed the rear side panel in a ...
