Traveller Seats
I have a set of brown Traveller seats from, I believe, a late Morris Traveller. Front seats and back seats. There’s a tear on one of the front seats. Looking for £50 for the whole set. I am in Newton Abbot South Devon.
I could take them to Moggy Fest in May if needed….

Re: LCV Register
As I said I prefer the forums as you can search for topics easier but unfortunately social media have taken over and the LCV Forum had very few active members on there at the time. In fact I posted a post and over the course of the year only had one response on it whereas I posted the same post on F...

Re: LCV Register
The Minor LCV Register is still active and gathering momentum on its FB Page. Unfortunately forums are a dying phenomenon as most people now use social media such as Facebook and X (Twitter) due to ease of uploading photos and attracting a wider audience. I prefer the forums for ease of access to th...

Re: Spotted today.
I spotted a white Traveller at Plymouth Dock ferry on Saturday 31 May to catch the night ferry to Roscoff. Sadly I was coming back from my holiday in Brittany. No photos I am afraid.

Re: Annoying Noise
I checked the trunnions and I had to grease them anyway when I noticed that one of the grease nipples was missing which I promptly replaced and pumped some grease in. Interestingly, the noise have gone (for the moment). Perhaps this was the cause. The wheel nuts were secure and he torsions bars were...

Re: New Member (Series 2 van)
Very nice looking van which I recall seeing at the LCV bash last year. Would love a Series 2 LCV to compliment my 1098 pickup and van.

Re: Annoying Noise
Thanks to everyone's input; I have been away and have just got back. The noise is heard when it's moving and it's heard when I am doing 20 mph plus especially when turning into another road or round a roundabout. I will check the rigidity of the torsion bars tomorrow. The petrol pump noise is, I thi...

Re: Annoying Noise
I am fairly confidence that it's not the fuel pump. I will check the tie bar and brakes. Chris, as you're probably aware. I am getting a new chassis for the p/up this summer and I am guessing that there's some flexing in the flooring area p-erhaps. I will update when I know more. Cheers

Re: It was the Coil or so we thought!
Thanks for the answer. I think I have another old coil somewhere in my spares bin. I will have to send the new one back for a refund. I will put it against the bulkhead or inner wing as at some point I am opting for an alternator. As an aside I planned to replace the top and bottom rad hoses today b...

Re: It was the Coil or so we thought!
I serviced my pickup today with a oil change, radiator flush, plugs, air filter and so forth. I thought I would change the coil with a new Lucas one just to tidy up the engine bay a bit. The old coil is mounted on the dynamo and I simply swapped it over in situ but It didn't start at all, I returned...

Re: NGK V CHAMPION SPARK PLUGS
Thanks for the feedback chaps; it seems that the vast majority here run their Morris on Champion plugs. That's good enough for me. Incidentally the mechanic who told me about the 'problem' runs a Minor LCV himself and is a classic car buff. Perhaps he had a bad incident in the past. I will stick to ...

NGK V CHAMPION SPARK PLUGS
I was talking to a mechanic the other day who told me to get shot of the Champion plugs as they aren't as good as NGK ones as the Champions ones tends to overheat too much. I have always used NGK plugs on my mowers, chainsaws, hedge cutters, etc.. but only fitted Champions to my 2 Morrises as they w...

As Jeremy Clarkson would say "How hard can it be to make your own wiring loom"........
I think I will go with Autosparks.
Cheers
