bmcecosse Great stuff......................5 mins today and out they popped!! Well what was left of them! now any advice on putting them back in, which size socket can you use as a drift..........I have the 33mm nas the is not bigger enough, any idea on banging them back? All Minors (I can only speak for LCVs) have a body number and a chassis number................that IAN at £40000 is a joke and it can not be transferred

I just have remnants on vulcranised rubber left..............I guess I will need a pair of hubs.

Anyone witha spare set to sell, must have the seals removed!!

Hello all Update is they are still there and appear to have ben stuck in!! Thats what all the fuss is about, so all I have now is the remains of the seal (still not see those grooves) any ideas of how o remove or has anyone a spare with the seals removed that they can help me with? Silicon is great stuff, put it into the van with all new kit and 6 years later (touch wood) no problems, no seals gone and a good pedal!!

Ah......................not seen them! Will have look and photograph, my seal seems to be peeling and the rubber is stuck fast!!

Are these easier to put in than take out?

You have totally lost me, I am talking about the seal that is under the bearing not the o ring, are you refereing to the same item? If so I have no idea how you can drift it out as you have now to hit against.................or is just me?

Removal of rear wheel oil seals

Can anyone offer me any advice for the removal of the oil seal on the rear wheel hubs. I have the hubs out and on the bench, the bearings have been removed without too much difficulty, but the oil seals, now that is a different thing. HOW DO YOU GET THEM OUT, mine have been pulled (chunks come off) ...

Sure is of use .................I assume the auction he refers to is Ruddington (Notts). Many Ministry Minors were purchased via the Home Office, Forrestry Commission were via the MOD!!
