The rubbers are brand new (Bull Motif) and the trims reclaimed (MMOC) and rechromed, so I'm good to go. The only snag seems to be that the garage which tried (and failed) to replace the rubber has 'mislaid' one of the clips...

Just wondering about the specifics of fitting the chrome surrounds. Someone mentioned adhesive - is this necessary or are the clips all that is needed?
Also, I note that there are small holes at the very ends of the surround, which will fall underneath the clips - are screws meant to be used here?
