hey iv gone from the normal distributor to electronic, and was just wondering what to do with the second wire that comes out from the distributor, also would a rubber pipe be alright to go on the vacumn advance bypassing the valve looking like thing on the standard metal advance pipe

i have a 1275 marina engine which needs to be timed up. starting with the distributor, which is a electronic distributor. so was just looking for a bit advice please.

hey guys sorry to keep bothering about distributors. but when i got my 45d electronic distributor and put it into the marina engine although the bottom drive pegs fitted and it was the correct length. but the hole in the block is approximatley 34 mm wide. were as the distributor shaft is only approx...

the block is ribbed so i fairly confident its an a+. should an a+ ital distributor fit this engine because it doesnt the drive pegs are to wide to fit into the slots?

hey the serial number on the engine is rkm 1129 e15046. but by the sounds of it its a marina which is annoying after it was sold to me as a ital and i bought ital parts for it. the engine didnt come with a distributor so dont know if clamp or fork.
