Re: ignition question
Being changed to negative earth, the wires would have been switched on the coil right?
Making the SW negative instead of positive
And CB now positive instead of negative.
Does that sound correct?
I dont want to damage the new kit wiring it wrong.

Re: Timing chain tensioners
I had to fix the car for the coming weekend so a like for like replacement was the easier option.
I posted the picture above as i couldnt find an image of the tensioners so thought it helpful to others,no other reason.
Thankyou both for your advice.

Re: lowering??? idiots guide +++++++++++++++++
I've had my Minor roughly 5 years and at least 3 of those, the car has been lowered,ON ORIGINAL SUSPENSION. It handles fine, even had a guy in a Porsche, who was following me,comment on how good it handled! It hasn't ripped the front wings off even on full lock, The bump stops,CUT DOWN,still work fine,...

Hey moggymaris,
Well done for making the car what you want it to be,
One question, where did you get the whitewalls from?

Re: rear shocks
ESM do them,
I only know because i recently fitted some front telescopics on my car.
The front kit is bolt on,with a little slot needing to be cut into inner wing,
While the rear kit is also bolt on but will require some welding.

Re: low compression engine
The engine prefix 10V comes from Morris 1000 van, closed circuit breather, 10V also comes from Vanden Plas 1100 Low compression van engine is prefix 10AB. I see your Morris is a '67 2 door so doubt that the engine is the original that the car came with. I just changed engines in my 2 door, searching f...
