Just look at this for a valuable lesson! :P

You need to click on the feedback for the seller and then wonder why they are no longer registered users of Ebay

The whole situation loooks dead fishy to me.

I would be very careful if this one gets relisted.

I would still want to check it myself first or get someone who has an idea of what the construction of a Minor is all about to check it first. This could be a good buy but if original chassis metal, it could be a basketful of trouble awaiting the unwary. I don't know for sure - I have not looked at ...

I would definitely check it out first. The Club has come to hear of a couple of incidents of buyers buying 'blind' on Ebay and then when they get the car home realising that they may have paid over the odds. He may have brilliant feedback but there is clearly confusion over things like whether it ha...

One answer is to do absolutely nothing. The traffic congestion will become even worse and nothing will be put in place to discourage the likes of the Chelsea Tractors from taking darlings to school at a slower pace than walking. I think it a turn around that they are actually talking about possible ...

I am a sucker for 'Bargains' hence a Traveller, a convertible, a 1967 Mini Mk1, A 1987 Jaguar XJ6 and more recently a Peugeot 205 GTI bought to sell on and make a quick profit 6 months ago that I instead now use almost every day to go to work! My wife says I am great at buying classic cars at a good...

I hate em! Always have done. But I defend the right for others to like them and put them on their cars. Someone who did not know I was into Minors, let alone mag Editor, walked past my Traveller yesterday. I did not let on that it was my car and he commented what an absolute disgrace the Minilites w...

As soon as things become definite please let me know and I will arrange for inclusion of details in the next 'Matters'.

Despite what you may have seen elsewhere recently on this message board we are keen to include details of all events of interest to Minor owners!

Cam, I won't let on the actual place until things are a bit more firmed up but it ain't Beaulieu. I agree that it is nice to try to circulate the National Rally a bit although finding suitable venues at a reasonable cost is not that easy for Andrew Stone and his team. Them Lords and Ladies know how ...

It is still to be finalised but 2005 will be a lot closer to Newquay than before! Perhaps not Devon or Cornwall but definitely not Yorkshire or even Hertfordshire! Don't want to be secretive but it is not for me to announce exactly where it will be. As soon as it is all confirmed then details will b...

I think it very much depends on the model. Travellers look great in most shades of Blue particularly Trafalgar or Teal (See why on the cover of Sept/Oct 2003 'Matters'). Not so keen on blues for saloons or convertibles. Black looks great on the earlier saloons but only if shiny (lots of work). Moder...
