Wedre you able to find a fix? I have nearly the same problem. I upgarded to a 1275 when my 948 dev4eloped a rod knock. i wish that I had not doen so after all the work but that is besides the pint. Did the new gearbox fix the clutch problem? I have the same problem. I did a 1275 upgrade from my 948 and the clutch pressure plate doughnut has broken twice almost within 20 miles.
