Re: Problem with clutch/gearbox noise HELP!!

Adjusted the clutch peddle today and it has made it worse, It now makes a noise when the clutch peddle is depressed then the old noise when biting then another noise when moving? May take it down to the garage tomorrow and let them have a listen to it and see what they think it is

Re: Problem with clutch/gearbox noise HELP!!

Ok thanks. I can't see it being the oil level as it was only topped up a few weeks ago but I will check anyway. I will adjust it and see how it goes I have more than an inch of play in the peddle so that could be it. Many thanks

Re: Problem with clutch/gearbox noise HELP!!

Do you mean the drive gear bush (what I found matching that description in the manual) and if that is it then is it easy to get to? If I took out the gearbox would I be able to get to it? Thinking of getting the part and doing it tomorrow if not?

Re: On offer at B&Q

I have a weekend job at b&q, I was looking at those, the quality is pretty awful ... just your standard cheap bit of kit, I quite like good quality tools anyway but I really don't think id be happy underneath a car being held up by bargain basement equipment, but that's just me. I also work at ...

Re: Got My Car Back From It's Respray

I will say that it is my one of my favourite places to be. I can hide out there and just tinker on the cars (there's always something to do) radio on and no one to bother me :) has to be the best use of an old cow shed I have ever seen :D

Re: Got My Car Back From It's Respray

The front wings were left on as they were fine and did not need replacing. The rear wings and other new panels had the black stuff stripped off before they were painted. The garage isn't heated as such but there are two or three heaters in there to take the chill out of the air when working in the e...
