Re: Advice re positive camber

philthehill: that is immensely helpful, and explains everything brilliantly, thank you loads. It's just what I needed. I checked and found that there is no spacer on the driver's side eye-bolt, and possibly something on the passenger side- it looks a bit like yellowish metal like brass or copper. Th...

Advice re positive camber

Hi folks, My 1971 traveller (very late- has a steering lock!) has positive camber at the front wheels. It's quite noticeable when just looking at the car. speedometer now reads high after cable change

Hi all My dad has just changed the cable on their Moggy - a 1098 standard 2-door saloon, around 1969 I think. The speedo was fairly accurate before. After the cable change the speedo reads 30-50% too high. Any thoughts on what may have caused this? One thread I saw suggested oil may have got into th...

"Traveller Wood is Structural" .. True or Bluff ?

Hi I have read many times that "Traveller wood is structural". However I've also read that it's semi structural ,and that it's only structural in that it holds the glass and door on, and heard from people in the trade that it has to hang together only so that it doens't move against itself...
