Thanks for the info everyone.I have found the number on the bulkhead of my 1953 car but not on the later body which has had a new floor panel welded in so there is no number there either.Cheers Paul

Does anyone know if there is a chassis number actually stamped somewhere on the car.I have 69ish body shell, with no chassis plate, and would like to try an identify it.Cheers Paul

If you really did have a blank cheque how could you choose.A 120 Jaguar would be high on my list but where would I put the hay that I have to collect sometimes for the wife's horses.And how could I carry an old axle,bought at the breakers.So no Jag then.I am lucky enough to have a series one Land Ro...

I started to make some rollers then saw a set for sale on eBay.When I collected them I found that they were an original Mr.Grumpy set.I remember his adverts in Minor Matters but it seems a long time ago.They look very strong,plenty heavy enough for my Minor project.As my workshop is not large enough...

Thanks for the info everyone.I wondered about going through the car with a long tube,as on a Mini jig I have seen advertised on eBay but decided that with the engine and gearbox still fitted I would need a huge tube that would be too big to handle.Cheers Paul.

Car rollers.
I need to tip my car on it's side so that I can do the welding needed underneath.Buying an expensive roller for one job is a no no,so I intend to make one.I can get the metal tube curved at a friend's workshop but need to work out the measurements.Does anyone know of some plans I could buy or copy?P...
