Funnily enough, having posted this the judder seems to have got markedly less. Indeed, I didn't notice it at all on the way home from my parents which is odd. I'll have to see if it comes back, but I'm hoping that whatever it is might have resolved itself :) It probable felt threatened by your post...
real Traffy' Blue is a kind of Navy Blue, really. A turquiose colour is probably Bermuda Blue, or could even a very odd version of Smoke Grey but very unlikey to be that.
only to have the car spray oil cause the rubber wasn't fitted right. Just kinda off subject, but here's some tips about the old oil filter assy's: A great way to remove the old rubbers in the oil cannister top housing is to stick a pin into it and pull it out at an angle. A great way to make sure y...

15W40 Magnatec is a bit over the top for a standard 1098 but it will protect it well and not do it any harm! (it's what I use in my tuned 1380). Cheers Cam! I was hoping you'd answer as I remeber you saying something about it in "Oil" (which i can't now find). It's just that I've got a bi...

The cases and internals are all the same with the only exception being the arm mounting plate (which the clutch arm piv...
Thats the stuff! My '68 smoke grey has recently been trated to new carpets and thats the best stuff I found to use. Remember to clamp the new side carpet peices by the doors under the kick-plates!
The Grumpies kit comprises two parts, as follows. http://static.photobox.co.uk/public/images/29/79/9742979.s.jpg http://static.photobox.co.uk/public/images/29/80/9742980.s.jpg Sorry, just going back to this thread, but if the heat shields are painted black, as they are in the pictures above, surely...
Untill about half a year ago, when I fitted one, my car had run with the standard steady and no cable... ...and it still has it's standard steady on it. Me, and the previous driver, are not exactly 'slow' drivers either. One thought is the softness of the engine mount rubbers. With the rubber gettin...
