Yes that old chesnut rears it head again :D I was told yesterday whilst leading a convoy that my brake lights do not work unless I stand on them on my 56 splitty , any one got a wiring diagram /part description for a switch that works ok ,some said a ford one on a spring connected to the brake pedal...
