Re: Quotes going wrong...
I spotted the problem with the Wes and Les topic as well. Just what we love from computers - inconsistency.

I've got Castrol Diff EPX 80W-90 GL4 in mine which sounds like much the same stuff.

Looking from the back our Traveller always sat a bit low on the left so last service the mechanic sorted it and hey presto - the back doors align properly now.

Re: Petrol
We always use E5 in our Traveller (and indeed in the XK8 and the MX5 as well), usually ESSO or Shell as they are the closest. There are a few things in the fuel system that will degrade with E10.

I now have to log in pretty well every time I visit the Forum as well. This started about a week or so ago. Prior to that it seemed to be only once a day. I'm running Google Chrome.

I agree about the charger pack. We always take one with us when we go on a trip just in case. Never had to use it yet.

Re: Trickle Chargers
I have a CTEK MXS 5.0 (actually I have 4 of them) and the cars that aren't used as 'dailys' are left permanently connected until such time as they are needed. Ironically the Morris is the one car that doesn't give me battery problems, probably because it doesn't have any alarms etc that the others d...

Re: smart to get one?
I have smart meters for both my gas and electricity with Octopus. As yet I haven't seen any downside. The major benefit is not having to do battle with the spiders to read the meters any more.

Can't you buy sensors that call you if triggered? It might be an easier solution.

A Morris Minor for Xmas
We got one of these from Home Bargains the other day. It contained a few small cookies so makes quite a nice stocking filler.
I assume it's electric from the lack of front grill.

Re: Wrong Vin number in log book and engine bay
Firstly, welcome to the Forum. Secondly, it might be worth narrowing down your location in your profile in case someone local to you can offer further assistance. When you say the VIN is incorrect do you mean completely different or, for example, one character is wrong? The latter happened to me and...

Nice finds. I've got one of those vans on the desk in front of me. It's been a while but I suspect that came from a charity shop as well.
