She passed her MOT last wednesday, what a pleasure it was to get 12 months tax free motoring. On with the bodywork now!!

I just had exactly the same problem with mine! As BMC says it's a bad earth, I cleaned up the area where the sidelight bolts onto the wing to bright metal to make a good contact & it was fine again. ( I did protect the bare metal with a blob of copper grease, as it's conductive). Cheers for tha...

This will not solve the problem, the problem is that the actual indicator lamp/bulb is doing nothing and the side light bulb is trying toindicate when indicating and works as the side light as normal. I have tried the earths, and its still the same. Could it be the flasher unit?

I have had this problem for a few weeks, when i put the n/s indicator on, the side light below the indicator flashes, and when i put the sidelights on, the sidelight lights up. I am hope theres not alot for the MOT, it appears to have had a full resto some time between 98 - 2001.
