Re: Radio!

Ive seen posts elsewhere on this site recommending this type of aeriel https://www.ebay.co.uk/i/400097026079 Which is put behind the dash. I've not tried it yet so can't say how well it works, just posted this as a possible solution. They may have gotten better but I have found any sort of aerial t...

Re: Radio!

Just a little bit of input too. Alot of people seem to be moving to music on USB or just plugging a phone into the radio to carry their music. This has meant that the radios do not have to be built with CD drives, making the unit considerably smaller and quite a bit cheaper. If CD is not something t...

Re: Your Favourite Roads, Trips, Car Holidays etc

Roads I really enjoyed; Ashbourne - Buxton A515, and Buxton - Whalley Bridge A5004. Derbyshire Greenfield - Saddleworth Moor - Holmfirth A635, and A6024 Holmfirth south past Holme Moss to join the A628. Mostly Yorkshire, but a bit of Greater Manchester and Derbyshire at either end. In both cases I ...

Re: Your Favourite Roads, Trips, Car Holidays etc

B1257 Stokesley - Helmsley road and Sutton Bank a.k.a. 'The Helmsley Grand Prix'. But not on Sundays when insane bikers scare the bejesus out of you. Plod love this road sadly. Buttertubs pass between Hawes and Muker. Go from Hawes side so your passenger can be scared by the drop on the left side! ...

Re: Your Favourite Roads, Trips, Car Holidays etc

The driving roads over in S.Ireland are supposed to be very scenic :)

Would you consider writing a short text of the journey and some pictures? :)

Your Favourite Roads, Trips, Car Holidays etc

Hello everyone, We have had quite a few people visiting us asking for nice places to drive and visit around us. We know lots of nice places for weekend visits and fun drives around the Derbyshire area, As we are based in Ilkeston we are fairly central, with many nice places around us. It got us thin...

Re: National Rally 2016 - What a weekend!

Glad you enjoyed the event. It really is a case of not being able to please all of the people all of the time - when the traders were positioned closer to the arena at a previous rally there were complaints about the noise form the arena being too intrusive, and could they be put further away. The ...

Re: National Rally 2016 - What a weekend!

I didn't spot you at all over the weekend?! But thanks a million for providing a set of wheel studs for my Minor this morning after we discovered the replacement ones we'd got off the internet were the wrong size (despite research). Didn't fancy a 140mile trip tomorrow on just 3. Life savers! :) Yo...

National Rally 2016 - What a weekend!

Hi Guy's, I am sat in the office after a a wonderfully hectic weekend at Catton Hall, we have now unloaded the small amount of remaining stock, the cars are basking in the sun and it is back to work as normal. I thought i would just write a quick overview / review of the event. Having not been to on...

Re: A series spares derby

Communications is the key word, we had to keep ringing/ emailing to find out what was going on. All we needed was the couriers tracking number so we could see when it was out for delivery but never received it We have now had a refund. As director of a company I think you need to see how you deal w...

Re: A series spares derby

Hi, Just a quick post to answer a few questions. My apologies to anyone who has experienced issues with our mail order system, we have had a couple of issues firstly with our new system linking up with the courier and then with the courier system itself, unfortunately it had been on going for about ...

There are two Morris Minors heading down to Mallory Park this Friday. Both Heavily modified, both taken in completely different directions. This Friday also has a great line up of Classic MG, Jaguars and New and Old Lotus cars. A great day out. Why not head down and see this wonderful promotion of t...

Re: Inflated classic prices

There really are three types of classics out there and you pay for what you get. 1. There is the eBay "bargain", these are the ones that you see for £0-£1000, it is fair to say that all of these cars will need the same level of work no matter how they look. Of course it depends what sort o...

Re: Remote deadlock central locking!

Sounds like an excellent set-up. i believe there is also an electric window kit available to fit the Moggy if you look for it, now that would really add pose value if it was connected so the windows shut as you zapped the remote :D When I first mentioned having made a "cheap aftermarket fix&qu...

Re: Remote deadlock central locking!

OK, so even though it was relevant to the conversation it gets deleted. As we developed the kits there is no way for us to mention it without advertising it. However, seeing as people are clearly interested i will just point out.... I stumbled across a morris minor central locking kit the other day,...

Re: Has the Custom Register Died????

I personally think that the rallies should probably alternate the type of venue it is to be held at. There are 1000's of members and that means 1000's of things that people are interested in. I have been to the last 4 and i personally found the last one to be the worst for things to do... now i stil...
