Re: Parts needed

Thanks for that, yes I will send you the details. Regards A standard Smiths oil pressure gauge pipe will fit if you are not bothered about it being plastic. For engine mounts use M1000 gearbox mounts. Not sure about the availability of gearbox mounts. Could I please have the details of the car for t...

Re: Floor Panel Replacing Costs

If it needs floors - it will likely need sills and possibly even the crossmember replacing........ So as Louise says -wait and see. It will be v expensive if you get the work done at Wares but Russel at RTG services (ex Wares employee I believe) seems to offer an excellent service in the Bristol ar...

Re: rumbling in third gear

I find this the easiest way to change the gearbox on the road side, it dose not take long to remove the front and disconnect the engine, though you I have had a lot of practice doing it this way.

Re: MOT day worries....

I never had any doubts about it passing :D I've often seen posts regarding forthcoming MOT's here and tried to imagine how worrying and stressful it must be waiting for the result of an MOT Inspection on an older car. Well since this morning I have had first hand experience of how it feels ! After m...
