Re: Brake Lights

Quite correct, I did not say I only get brakes 2/3rds of the way down. 2/3rds (approx.)of the way down is the fullest extent of travel with the brake pedal being pressed really hard, which is when the lights come on, and only that at that point are they visible. The brakes have all been completely r...

Re: Brake Lights

Hi Liammonty, Many thanks for your reply. No problem with the brake pedal going to the floor, it only goes down approx. 2/3rds of the travel and remains solid as it should do, but the lights only come on when it reaches the last bit, even after several applications one after the other they only come...

Brake Lights

Checking my rear lights in the reflection of a shop window, I thought that the brake lights had stopped working. I discovered that the brake lights were not coming on until the pedal has reached its maximum amount of travel. I continued applying the brakes to confirm that it was not an intermittent ...

The pictures of all the Traveller's at the National Rally really brought back so many memories for them. Also made them...

Where is it now?

I sent some pictures to a friend of all the Travellers at the National yesterday, as he was a former owner.
He never realised that so many were still on the road, and was wondering if his Traveller was still going.

Socket Size

Can anyone please advise the exact socket size for the Steering Wheel retaining nut on a 1970 2 door Minor 1000.
Tried a friends 32mm socket, but not big enough.I am happy to buy one, but do not really want to buy one and find it is the wrong size.

Re: london to brighton run 2010

Would be very interested, took part in 3 of the runs which was always a good day out. However as mentioned by others, parking could be a problem, and preferably later in the year, as cold was always a problem, my wife feels cold at the mention of doing the L2B run again !
