I like to collect old stuff including retro furniture, radios, tv's etc. My house is a retro palace right down to my 1969 bright orange daintymaid kitchen. Also do archaeology in my free time as I was an archaeologist in a former life I have other classic vehicles which I share with my other half......

I've managed to get the plastic bits out with WD40 and a wire coat hanger!! I think I have fixed them but still need to refit them to the car.

Do Newton Commercial do the rods? I've managed to pull out the metal parts but don't have anything long enough at the mo to push the remaining plastic out.I will persevere but its harder work than I thought it would be!

Both my interior sun visor rods (plastic ) have become brittle and have broken off at the ends so much so that I can't use them now. Is there an easy way to replace them or will I have to buy a new pair? Seems a shame as the rest of them are in good condition.

Any ideas would be great

I have passed it on to my mechanic who is still not convinced!!

We are going to overhaul the original brakes first and I'll see how I get on.

I was just wondering what people have done to upgrade their front brakes?? As the originals are quite shocking to use!! My mechanic has suggested getting discs which will require a new servo (I think I've got that right but don't quote me on it) and the cost of parts including fitting will be close ...
