Sorry it took me so long to respond to this. I did finally mostly sort it out. I actually used some new SAE bolts to mount through the body after rebuilding and tightening the hinges. The SAE bolts are very slightly smaller which gives a bit of adjustment on all of the hinges. In my case enough to c...

Thats what I think too. But It feels and operates perfectly for a while. I have only found one reference on another site to travel and it says about 8-10 mm at the pressure plate. Which is a bit hard to measure when its all assembled. Any one with an idea about how far that is at the other end of th...

Type 9 Gearbox and 1275
I hope some of you might have some experience here or send me in the right direction. I have an LCV I have converted to a 1275 with a type 9 Ford 5 speed and a hydraulic clutch. Works fine for a short time and then I'll start getting a bit of a "tinkling" sound. Something like the throwout...

fitting van doors
Does any one have experience fitting doors on a van. I am restoring one and the rear doors are not fitting very well. And I cant find any method to adjust the fit. Any suggestions. Also having trouble refitting th hood . Any help will be appreciated thanks Bob Barr
