Re: National Rally photos

The diesel car was rescued, it had it's roof stoved in by kids jumping on it, floor was rusted out, no engine or box, most of the running gear had been stripped and it was growing in the grass, as for build quality, take a look at the stage photos, it's built like a tank and will out last time itse...

Re: Caution when buying an alleged rebuilt engine!!

You would have thought that would be the case! but they still keep getting plenty of customers! As to the reason why they do, I dont know either, maybe its because not everyone has the same bad experience. But remember the engine I brought was a private sale. Hello AW54, "There are plenty of co...

I recently brought a 1275 engine to upgrade my morris, It was sold to me as fully rebuilt, It had lots of paper work to back this up and it did look the part. Russell did advise to take him along with him to...

Re: In need of some tlc!

The owner was a bit eccentric, he brought the car new, I think in 1958, and because he brought another car he just parked this one up and left it! If you look at the picture carefully you can see the engine is sticking out of the front, I remember him telling me he had tried to move the car, which h...

Re: car servicing in bristol

He was doing my car for nearly 3hours, but that was my fault as i was chatting a bit to much! But not about the morris!
I was chatting to him about automating my gates, thats something else he does!

What should it cost to have a full service?
