Re: Attack on my Morris Minor
Thanks for the advice everyone We informed the police and a community support officer came out to look at the damage. They said there was little they could do but you never know the culprit might be caught. Still not sure what was poured over the car and I haven't been able to find any container tha...

Attack on my Morris Minor
On Wednesday I came out to find some liquid - (we think brake fluid) had been poured over the Morris Minor, causing damage to the paintwork. The car had a water proof cover over it so fortunately this prevented too much damage being done. The cover is completely ruined - the liquid has caused it to ...

Seat straps
Hi everyone does anyone know whether there is a special tool you have to use when fitting replacement seat straps to the underside of the passenger seat? They don't seem to stretch enough to fit to both edges of the seat so I suppose you either need a particular tool to stretch the straps or just a ...

blueray flat screen tv and beer cooler your moggy should have as a minimum to enjoy over the winter! I like the idea :D I think for now I am going to try and park the Morris on an area of concrete, rather than on the grass, hopefully somewhere not too exposed to the weather, and with summer on the ...

Re: Storing a Morris Outside
Is there no way of propping it up The building next to it is propping it up slightly, however I think it is too far gone for any repairs :( I may be able to store the car in an old barn but I will have to find out. This building is also not structurally brilliant however it is not falling down - ye...

Re: Storing a Morris Outside
Here are some more pictures. As you can see it is leaning badly, although saying that it has been leaning since the 1980s!, however in the last few weeks the lean has got worse and the crack in the beam has appeared. The building also leaks but has been useful for storing the Morris over the last tw...

Storing a Morris Outside
Hi everyone, Last week the garage was declared structurally unsound when we found a large crack in a main supporting beam right over the top of the Morris. As you can see from the photographs the garage is leaning badly and on the brink of collapse. As a result the Morris has been evacuated and is l...

Re: Dashboard trim
Thankyou,
I was never sure if it was clipped in place or simply glued, so I thought it was worth checking.
It would explain why I have never been able to find a clip for it.

Dashboard trim
Hi everyone, Does anyone know what the clip that holds the trim in place on the dashboard is called? (see photo) It has been missing since I bought the car, so I have no idea what it looks like. If I can find out what it is called, I can order a new one (hopefully :-? )[frame] http://mmoc.org.uk/mbi...

Polishing the Morris
I was wondering how often it is safe to polish a classic car such as a Morris Minor, without causing damage to the paintwork. I was originally led to believe that it is best not to polish a classic car too often as this can cause the paintwork to dull over time, however after having the front of my ...
