No fuel coming through
Switched on starter key after few months off road and simply get endless machine gun chatter from fuel pump. Pump is new and no signs of leakage in pipe from tank. Tank has fuel. Anything else to try please?

coil polarity
Starting to get 1961 positive earth moggie back on road. Have a lot to learn! Acquired new coil. Old coil is marked SW and GB. New coil is + and -. How do these correspond please.

Towing Points
After 30 trustworthy years in our ownership our 1961 moggie 1000 has had to be towed to a garage twice in the past few months. Neither time did the garage seem to know where best to secure a tow rope. Last time it went up into engine compartment and around engine mounting arm - not very clever I tho...

Failing Rotor Arms
The last two times I have taken my 1961 948cc 1000 out it has lost power after about 5 miles and then stopped altogether. Both times after towing to local trustworthy garage a hairline crack in rotor arm has been diagnosed. Car drove home OK (about 1 mile up a steep hill) after each new arm fitted. ...
