ho ! 4got the essex engine much easyer to tune but heavy compaired to the german lump

if you want power from the german block use the 2.8, the heads will have to be from mustang II and using the intake mainfold with a plate to take a 38 or 40 dgas ( tang heads are not twined) also you will need alloy timing wheels otherwise you will rip the felt ones apart,

hi, have you felt how heavy a small block is ? the buick/rover is 3/4 of that weight, and you only want to use the 4 bolt mains otherwise you may pour your money down the drain

Many thanks chaps, but v8 has to be the sound,althought have ran small block chevy in our fuel altered. so to with welder in hand this will be next years to do as with the mild roof chop

do'es any one have problems with this conversion ? or had problems with this if not great if you have tell me wot (nicely) ho! yeah this will be a 3.5 rover lump running a 40 dgas webber with t 400 chevy box mated to a volvo axle

hi again, on thinking that carb will be a 34 ADF webber and with that I think you would be better off with the DGAS weather you use the double pumper or the progresive, good luck anyway!

stick a 38 dgas on as the 40 dgas will suck to much fuel and you would have to set the mixture so lean at tickover that it would'nt run or idle under 850 1000 rpm, but in saying this the dgas carbs can set you back a preety penny
