Are there any scrappies that let you have a wander around any more? Someone said on here that there's some EU directive that makes this illegal or something - is this true? It just seems like such a shame. It was only a few years ago (about 2003) that I wandered aroud a scrappy round my way to find ...

Just nick the petrol from all the dead moderns. Fill some gerry cans up and put them on the back seat. Then drive to wherever Holly Willoughby lives, and woo her with your flash motor that actually moves. Yeah, that'll work. She won't be able to resist. Problem is, my Moggie isn't even a runner. Hmm...

Regarding someone will have the part you need- one year on the Bandon rally an overseas visitor broke a halfshaft, believe it or not another member had a spare halfshaft tucked in beside the spare wheel ( must have been a boy scout) before very long the car was motoring again!! That is pretty impre...

I dont mind it. But ads in general could be a good way of earning a little extra cash for the club (as long as they dont cause any errors for some users).

It wasn't my point to offend anyone - honest!!!! :D But as someone on the outside looking in, I thought it best to voice my impression of the stand purely as constructive criticism. I appreciate that all who were involved in the stand will be eager to defend it, as they no doubt put a lot of hard wo...

I edited my original message - then all of the poll questions disappeared - so I added it back in and everything reappeared.

eeerm, can someone help please?

How many users of the forum are members of the MMOC?

Just after reading another post regarding peoples opinions on the MMOC, it seems that a lot of people have a definite idea of their expectations of the club. For me, what I have needed / do need from a "club" are: >>having an official technical adviser (Rob Thomasson) - as I needed an MMOC...

To be honest, why doesnt the Heritage Motor Museum show an interest in this? This is a celebration of a British first, and everyone - not just members of the MMOC - should know about it. If the MMOC buy it, they'll generally only be able to show people who are already interested in Moggies - and wil...

Totally agree with advertising on the site in general

The politics of "we cant show preference to anyone" is ridiculous if it is paid advertising.

Its mutually beneficial - the clubs gets a little earner, and the advertisers get to advertise!

I got a reponse from Regaliaqueen regarding my concerns and I appreciate the reasons why the barriers are there (idiots stealing parts off cars, scratching them with bags etc). I also think that there could have been better use of the stand if there wasnt a "secret-curtain" in the middle :...

I just want rid of it now. Think I'm gonna duck-tape some thick plastic sheeting over/around the area, and just grind out the lot and chuck it. Thanks for the comments - really appreciated.

I think I would just rather get rid.

That bit of the floor needs replacing anyway - looks like the slab has been a bit of a water trap and rotted the floor.

think i'll just soak it, cut a square around the lot and chuck it.
